This is a rather large carving. It was well kept. It comes from a smoke-free home. I don’t see any flaws to be perfectly blunt. There’s no major dents or anything like that. Obviously, this is a well-known artist. It’s just a beautiful piece. I guess if you have to say a father, there’s a crack in the wood in the back. However, I’m pretty sure that’s the way it was made. It’s pretty hard to get Wood to Splitting and cracking a little bit. It signed and dated on the bottom. Please note this is a large version of 32 inches tall. Most of the statues you see for sale or 6 to 8 inches.
