Vintage wood carved statue of a beautiful island woman with skirt and pitcher. This art sculpture depicts a semi-nude lady holding a fluted pitcher. The subject was created with well defined muscle tone, facial features, skirt, pitcher, hands, feet, breasts, abdomen and hair. The fluted pitcher the lady is carefully holding with both hands has the same carved scrolling design as her scanty skirt. Her skirt shows beautiful waves of fabric where it is tied. The pedestal under the figure measures 16 inches by 16 inches and the statue is 67 inches tall. The weight is 75.2 pounds. This has been lightly cleaned (dusted). It has cracks, scuffs and finish deterioration indicative of age. It has a large crack running down the subject due to the medium drying out. This can be fixed. My untrained guess is Indonesian.
